Israel's equivalent of the NSA — the IDF's cyber and signals intelligence unit. Unit 8200 veterans founded or lead dozens of major cybersecurity and intelligence technology companies including NSO Group, Check Point Software, SentinelOne, Wiz, Cato Networks. Epstein introduced Trae Stephens (Founders Fund) to Unit 8200-linked cybersecurity startups in May 2018. The unit is the human capital pipeline for the Israeli cyber-intelligence industrial complex that intersects with Palantir's operations.
