Public records show Nancy Bass Wyden, owner of Strand Bookstore and Bass Real Estate, filed a motion to seal court documents in a 2025 New York Supreme Court case. She also filed a counter-lawsuit seeking $655,000 in damages for alleged theft, and a police report with NYPD in October 2024.
