Edgar Prince

Founder of Prince Corporation (1931–1995)
Tracked because Seeded as the dynastic anchor for both Erik Prince and Betsy DeVos. Their shared inherited wealth + Betsy's marriage to Dick DeVos = the canonical 'two-family wealth concentration' example.
Editorial summary · AI-drafted from public records

Holland, MI auto-parts manufacturer; founder of Prince Corporation. Father of Erik Prince (founder of Blackwater, now Constellis Holdings) and Elisabeth 'Betsy' DeVos (US Education Secretary 2017–2021, wife of Dick DeVos, son of Amway co-founder Richard DeVos Sr.). Prince Corporation was sold to Johnson Controls in 1996 for $1.35B shortly after his death, distributing inherited capital to both children. Erik's subsequent founding of Blackwater (1997) was capitalised from this inheritance.
