Mr. Speaker, I rise today in strong opposition to H.R. 2189. Let's get honest about what this bill does and doesn't do. It does not require training. It does not set standards. It does not improve accountability, and it does not apply o…

  • Mr. Speaker, I rise to applaud my Republican colleagues for condemning President Trump's socialist actions, but they won't admit that the President is the biggest socialist in America today. President Trump has turned the Federal Government into a shareholder in private American companies, taking ownership stakes …

Mr. Speaker, I thank my colleague from the great State of Virginia, Congresswoman McClellan, and to the Congressional Black Caucus for organizing this Special Order hour. For the past month, we have been home in our districts, listening to our constituents. For me, they run up on me in the streets, in the grocery …
  • 2026-07-23 ICE MUST COMPLY WITH JUDGE'S ORDERS ↗ Health care & pharma
Mr. Speaker, I rise today to once again demand that ICE immediately provide my constituent, Carlitos Ricardo Parias, urgently needed medical care. Carlitos is a father, husband, and volunteer in our community who was even recognized by city council for his service. Last October, ICE shot Carlitos near his elbow. …

  • Mr. Speaker, I rise today to sound the alarm about a grave national security threat: Donald Trump's sleeping habits. I know we have rules about decorum, so I will stick to the facts, because this is, in fact, a serious matter of oversight, transparency, and national security. In meeting after meeting, Donald Trum…
  • Mr. Speaker, Trump and Republicans just showed the American people once again exactly where their priorities lie--not with families struggling to make ends meet but with lawless agencies and political allies. • Mr. Speaker, I rise to honor your 2026 NCAA women's water polo national champions, my USC Trojans. • Mr. Speaker, I thank the gentlewoman from Virginia (Ms. McClellan) for hosting this Special Order hour. The House is on fire, and our democracy is under attack. What Kamlager-Dove trades

No STOCK Act transaction reports on file for this member (House filings only so far).

How this is assembled

  • Roll calls come from the Senate's LIS XML (senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_votes) and the House Clerk's EVS XML (clerk.house.gov/evs), fetched nightly and never edited.
  • The party line on a roll call is the majority among that party's yea and nay votes. Party unity is the share of this member's yea/nay votes that matched it; a break is a vote that did not. Votes of “present” and absences count toward attendance only.
  • Members are identified by Biographical Directory (bioguide) id; senators' LIS ids are mapped through the unitedstates/congress-legislators roster.
  • Floor speeches come from the Congressional Record (govinfo), split at the speaker lines the Record prints and matched to the member by surname, chamber and state; a passage that names a measure the member later voted on is paired with that vote. Trades are the member's own STOCK Act periodic transaction reports — House filings parsed from the Clerk's PDFs, Senate filings from the Senate's electronic disclosure system. A trade is flagged when its company's sector is one a committee the member sits on oversees, when the member cast a yea or nay on a measure in that sector within thirty days of the trade, or when PACs in that sector gave the member $10,000 or more in a cycle. Sectors for companies come from the SEC's company list and SIC codes; measures' policy areas from the Library of Congress via govinfo.
  • Funding is the member's principal campaign committee as filed with the FEC: receipt totals from the committee's summary, every contribution from another political committee (Form 3, line 11C), and the FEC's own roll-up of individual money by employer. Sectors are assigned by a fixed, published list of name patterns, and the rule that fired is stored with each row.

A break with the party is a fact of the record, not a verdict. Procedural votes, amendments and motions to recommit are all in here; what a given break means is a question for the measure it was on, which is one click away.
