2025-12-11 PROMOTING EFFICIENT REVIEW FOR MODERN INFRASTRUCTURE TODAY ACT ↗
Mr. Chairman, in closing, this amendment is about helping States succeed to improve their water quality--not creating a new mandate and not creating a new bureaucracy. It gives States the support that they need to do the things that curre…

Mr. Speaker, today, the people of Iowa remember a great farmer, a great friend, and a great American, Ray Gaesser. Mr. Speaker, I rise today to honor Ray Gaesser of Corning, Iowa, who died in a farm accident on September 5. Ray started farming at only 15 years old. After his father passed away, he had to step up …

Mr. Speaker, every family is now impacted by this. Every American knows someone who has come into contact with an AI fraud, a pig butchering scheme, a romance theft. Right now, criminals on the other side of the world are stealing the life savings of people in our own communities, and the local officers who answer…
  • 2026-07-23 PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH ↗ Defense & aerospace
Mr. Speaker, I thank you for your combat service and my combat service, but, most importantly, the combat service of those currently on the front line. As a 20-year veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a colonel, I respect America's strength and that it starts at home. The National Defense Authorization Act of 2027 …
  • 2026-07-22 STOP INSIDER TRADING ACT ↗ Defense & aerospace
Mr. Speaker, I thank Chairman Steil for yielding me time. Mr. Speaker, I think there are now 200 million good reasons to vote for this bill, because that is exactly how much Members of Congress made in trading stock, most of it insider information contributing to their $200 million in take home. Now, here is the…
  • Mr. Speaker, I am one of the last Members of Congress still serving in the Reserves, as a colonel in the U.S. Air Force. I have spent the last two decades serving in the intelligence community and the national security community. It doesn't take an intel expert to let us all know what we see before us. This bill i…

Mr. Speaker, I thank Members on both sides of the aisle. I understand the passion behind this. As a still-serving combat veteran--and also for the Chairman's combat service--I think we are committed to making sure that aggressors are held accountable. That is exactly why I authored the bipartisan PEACE Act--targe…
  • 2026-05-21 AMERICAN DREAM OF HOMEOWNERSHIP ↗ Real estate & constructionAgriculture & food
Mr. Speaker, together, in a bipartisan fashion, this Chamber passed the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act, the most significant update to rural housing programs in decades. I fought to make sure my Rural Housing Service Reform Act was front and center in this package, because in rural Iowa, the Federal programs mea…
  • Mr. Speaker, today, we have the opportunity to save every American at the pump up to 50 cents per gallon. We know because we have proved it right in my home State of Iowa. The value of yearlong, nationwide E15 is real money in the pockets of families, communities, and our supply chain nationwide. Today, we get to …

What Nunn trades

No STOCK Act transaction reports on file for this member (House filings only so far).

How this is assembled

  • Roll calls come from the Senate's LIS XML (senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_votes) and the House Clerk's EVS XML (clerk.house.gov/evs), fetched nightly and never edited.
  • The party line on a roll call is the majority among that party's yea and nay votes. Party unity is the share of this member's yea/nay votes that matched it; a break is a vote that did not. Votes of “present” and absences count toward attendance only.
  • Members are identified by Biographical Directory (bioguide) id; senators' LIS ids are mapped through the unitedstates/congress-legislators roster.
  • Floor speeches come from the Congressional Record (govinfo), split at the speaker lines the Record prints and matched to the member by surname, chamber and state; a passage that names a measure the member later voted on is paired with that vote. Trades are the member's own STOCK Act periodic transaction reports — House filings parsed from the Clerk's PDFs, Senate filings from the Senate's electronic disclosure system. A trade is flagged when its company's sector is one a committee the member sits on oversees, when the member cast a yea or nay on a measure in that sector within thirty days of the trade, or when PACs in that sector gave the member $10,000 or more in a cycle. Sectors for companies come from the SEC's company list and SIC codes; measures' policy areas from the Library of Congress via govinfo.
  • Funding is the member's principal campaign committee as filed with the FEC: receipt totals from the committee's summary, every contribution from another political committee (Form 3, line 11C), and the FEC's own roll-up of individual money by employer. Sectors are assigned by a fixed, published list of name patterns, and the rule that fired is stored with each row.

A break with the party is a fact of the record, not a verdict. Procedural votes, amendments and motions to recommit are all in here; what a given break means is a question for the measure it was on, which is one click away.
